Yes. All new Makita LXT Lithium-Ion batteries ship with only a 30% charge for storage purposes. Before using any power tool, fully charge the battery with a genuine Makita Battery Charger — this is very important.
What warranty do Makita tools come with? +
All Makita tools from Sofaru Hardware carry a six-month warranty from the date of purchase. If you have an issue with battery performance, visit us at Muhima-Nyabugogo Road — we are the only authorised Makita Service Centre in Rwanda. Please bring proof of purchase.
